Improved Security Measures
The Maxoptra team takes GDPR compliance very seriously. Therefore, we have implemented several changes to the system:
- If you log into Maxoptra for the first time, your password must be at least 8 symbols long.
- If you leave the Maxoptra browser page, the timing of your session will elapse in 30 minutes. After that, you will have to log in again.
- In case you forgot your password, a reset password link will be sent by email. The link can be used only once, and its valid for a limited time only.
Pickup & Delivery
We understand that drops on a route are not always a case of moving from point A to point B. Sometimes your vehicles need to make stops on the way to collect additional items to complete a customer order. This can cause planning challenges and headaches and if dealt with manually can result in incomplete orders and failure to meet delivery promises.
In such circumstances Maxoptra users have access to our Pickup & Delivery functionality. An intelligent setting which enables you to stitch pickups and deliveries together into one plan, all at the click of a button.
This option is disabled by default. If you want this option enabled, contact the Maxoptra Support Team.
Now, when a planner is building a schedule there is a new field on the Order screen called Linked order. If you want to make a link between the two orders, type the connected order ID number in this field.
The system will recognize the items as connected and plan them accordingly.
Note There may be other orders planned in between the collection and delivery stops of the connected order. The planning system will build the most appropriate route for them considering all requirements.
On the actions toolbar of the Planning screen there is a new icon for the connected orders:(Show/Hide linked orders).
In case of incorrect pickup and delivery order sequence, the order is highlighted in red and the violation is displayed: Incorrect linked orders sequence. The delivery must follow the collection.
Note Moving one of the connected orders on the Planning screen (on the chart and on the map) will automatically affect the paired order.
For more details on new functionality, see Pickup & Delivery.
Maxoptra Rate Delivery Service
We have introduced a new service, called Rate Delivery, that allows your customers to rate their score based on delivery performance, and leave any comments about the delivery experience. This service will help delivery companies to see and analyse client feedback and react accordingly.
For this purpose, a special widget will be available on the delivery company website.
The Rate Delivery service can be used in the following way:
After the delivery is completed (failed), the customer receives an sms/e-mail notification (“Order complete. Please, rate us”), containing a link to the widget. By clicking this link, the rating screen is displayed:
The customer rates the performance and leaves the comment (if any).
To support this functionality, the Delivery Ratings Report has been added to Maxoptra standard reports. It can be used by delivery companies to assess and analyse their performance.
This report provides the following data for analysis:
- Number of rated jobs;
- Delivery rate per job;
- Customer feedbacks (if any).
The Delivery Rate Report can be exported to Excel format for summary chart building.
For more details, see Rate Delivery Service.
It is now possible to enable the notifications for your customers at the Customer Location level and at the Order level. For this purpose the Notifications field has been added to the Customer location form with two checkboxes to choose from: SMS and E-mail. You may tick one of them or both.
The same field was added to the Order form to specify the mode of notification for the particular order:
Besides, the new notification tags have been added to the SMS/Email tab to make the customer’s operation more convenient:
Name of the driver delivering an order
Additional attributes of an order. The following additional attributes can be added to the order:
Day of the week when order is delivered
Planned time limit for order to be delivered
For more details on notifications, see Email Notifications to the Customers.
Show Order Sequence on Scanning Tab
Previously, when scanning the order barcode on the Scanning tab, only the vehicle number and the run number were displayed. For many users this information is too scarce. For this reason, following Maxoptra 5.1 we have extended the data displayed on the Scanning tab. Now the following order details are displayed:
- Order status (planned/unplanned);
- Customer location;
- Operational window;
- Vehicle requirements;
- Order number in run.
You can see that barcode scanning is now available for unplanned orders too.
For details on scanning, see Barcodes Scanning.
