Starting from this release, the new Maxoptra interface is now available for you. We have made the new interface more intuitive and user-friendly, keeping at the same time the key principles of UI functionality that our users are accustomed to. That is why it is mainly the visual part that has been changed. Location of elements and the logic of task implementation remain the same.
We will keep improving the Maxoptra interface to make it more intuitive and easy to use.
Several Dispatchers Working Under One Account
Following our customer’s requests, we have made possible that several dispatchers can work independently under one account. Previously, when two dispatchers were working simultaneously under one account, their activities affected each other’s screens, which caused significant inconveniencies. Now only the element the dispatcher is working with will be changed (for instance, specific run or order), not affecting the rest of the screen. Thus, all employees can work in the system independently.
Automatic Sending of Route Details to a Driver's PDA
Companies that go for completely automatic planning of deliveries may face problems if the dispatcher forgets to send the schedule to a driver’s PDA once the schedule is completed. This may put the delivery at risk: the driver has no schedule for today, the warehouse team cannot load the vehicle. In this case the driver must call the dispatcher to settle the issue.
We have added a new function, which automatically records, and sends, the schedule to a driver’s PDA at the time, indicated in the settings.
To enable this function, on the Planning screen go to the Settings section. In the dialogue, see the new option Send order details by timer (disabled by default).
Copy Orders of Any Status
This function can be helpful in the following cases. For instance, if clients make the same purchases on a regular basis, or when an order was not delivered, and it must be rescheduled for another day. Now you do not have to create a new order, you just need to click the Clone button.
